Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement

Looking at the growing intake of vessels in Ship Management companies worldwide and in order to participate in this growth, Supreme Shipping Services have extended their services in the field of Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement of ships Hull Structure. The Company conforms to the ISO 9001 : 2000 Quality Management System Standard and has obtained approval certificates from INDIAN REGISTER OF SHIPPING, DET NORSKE VERITAS, LLOYDS’S REGISTER, AMERICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING, BUREAU VERITAS, GERMANISCHER LLOYD, RINA.

The Company’s riding teams exclusively for this function are mobile at all times and hold all valid travel documents. They are of highest calibre and headed by experienced Marine Engineers, Naval Architects & Master Mariners. The teams have been equipped with Latest Multiple Echo through coating Ultrasonic Equipments of Cygnus make. In a short span of time the company has already completed four assignments of special surveys of bulk carriers in China, commencing with steel renewal assessment during voyage prior to preparation of dry dock specifications and completion of Thickness Survey in dry dock. The Company is professionally equipped to carry out Hull Thickness Survey on all kinds of ships such as Bulk Carriers, General Cargo Ships, Container Ships, Tankers, LPG carriers, Chemical Tankers, etc. whether it is CAP, CAS, Special Survey, Intermediate Survey or Annual Survey. All our team mates are well knowledgeable in working with national as well as international surveyors and floating staff.
